I was delighted to be featured in the Scottish Daily Express, where my work photographing free-roaming horses across Scotland’s remote islands was highlighted.

The article shared the story behind my journey aboard Salt Pot, sailing with Mark to the Hebrides, Orkney, and Shetland in search of wild ponies and horses. Each trip brought its own challenges – from unpredictable weather to long hikes over rugged terrain – but those very challenges made every image feel even more special.

For me, it’s never just about taking a photograph. It’s about capturing the essence of these incredible animals: their strength, grace, and quiet spirit within the dramatic landscapes they call home. Having this work recognised in the press is a real honour, and I hope it brings others closer to the wild beauty I was lucky enough to witness.
